The eyes of baby grey parrot are all black and change to black with a white rim arround when become adult. Please tell me when will this change occur? Thank you.
I've asked this exact question before (at a bird shop) and was told that it (the rim) will first turn yellow and then to white gradually. The entire process takes approximately 3 years.
I'm not sure if that's the fact, just sharing what I've heard before. I'm a rookie too! ;)
The colour is changed gradually from Black, Grey, White and finally yellow.
Around 8-10 months, you would find the rim is in grey.
Around 10-16 months, you would find it is in white.
Around 16-36 months, it will gradually change much yellow.
The above is just for your reference. I think most normal grey parrots are more or less the same.
