I purchased some wood slices from the website of a bird toy manufacturer/wholesaler in the US and found that there was some glue inside some of the wood slices. In the concerned website, it was expressed that the wood slices are the natural pine wood for birds' chewing. I am surprised how come there is some glue at the internal of a wood slice.
I raised a query to the bird toy manufacturer/wholesaler a week ago but there is no response so far.
Per a reply from a specialist a moment ago, the sticky semi-liquid stuff found in the concerned wood slice was not the glue but something called 'pine resin'. It seems to me that pine resin is safe for the birds.
