D太平洋好靚, 其實我一直想養太平洋,
不過LOUIS話佢地同LB好難混養, 所以放棄左

Scarlet Macaw同GREY都係咬毛高危一族喎, 可以和平共處真羨慕!

這個是我家的中央暖氣系統, 因在加拿大冬天氣溫低於0度, 逭是暖風出囗, 在左邊這個就是SHARP 的空氣清新機, 用來除味及殺bacteria.

加拿大果然好大好吸引. 我家姐住van couver, 我淨係知道外國好多apartment / house 都平過HK好多。　我好想快Ｄ老咗可以ｒｅｔｉｒｅ　去第二度呀！！

其實如果唔怕住得遠，係香港都可以住到外國咁大嘅屋，例如愉景灣等。Retire 之後最重要係銀根短缺，外幣e家好貴

I live in Vancouver, Canada. I mail ordered my Scarlet Macaw from Montreal, Quebec to Vacouver, BC. My macaw shipped by plane (5 hours flight - quite long for the bird), when he came to my home, he was only 3 months old. I bought from breeder (is cheap when you buy from breeder- $2300 (Cdn dollar) + shipping charge $300.

And my African Grey (bought from pet shop- is expensive $ 2200 (Cdn $)

I think if buy Grey in HK maybe cheaper, isn't it?

I went to HK last year, I saw a Green Wing Macaw in Bird Street (近太子這邊), I asked the seller, he said sell for (over $20,000), is that right?

Thank you very much Scarlet, scarlet macaw is very rare and expensive in Hong Kong. Last week I saw a old (may be more than 6years old) scarlet macaw(second hand), the seller said sell for near 70000HKD.

African Grey is very common in Hong Kong, about 3800~5000HKD only~~

Scarlet Macaw is also very rare in Canada, that is too expensive in HK (70,000 HKD), is crazy.
Scarlet Macaw is a very active bird, he like to play all the time, never stop, I think green wing macaw is more quite than Scarlet.

Yes your are right mate, now the green wing is around 25000, and recently there is a ruby macaw, the seller ask for 88000HKD.
African Grey is really cheap in hk around 4000-5000HKD

I bought my macaw over 3 years ago, as I knew the breeder stop their business since 2008, I am very sorry to tell you that. You can tell your wife's family to go to this link

If a Scarlet is bought from PJ's, it costs at least $5000 cdn la. Buying from a breeder is a lot cheaper ah. There is breeder in Windsor, Ontario who has many rare breeds like Hyacinth, Blue-throated and Buffon macaws.

Since macaw is a South America bird, so it's much cheaper than HK. The foreign species are always more expensive.
