remember to make the holes closer than normal
put the bird in it and do not remove for at least 2 weeks then check and see how it is
give it some calcium added water every 3 days as well
u can get it at the bird shop at goldfish street

the bird is about 2-3 weeks which is a prefect time to cure this splayed leg problem

u should put the leg closer
just maybe 1.5 cm apart

u may want to use some denser sponge

like this should be fine
you can cut away some of the excess sponges on the side if u want, so that it would be less dirty as the nest are usually quite dirty because of the bb pooping everywhere
now just feed it calicum water every few days and watch if the parents are feeding the bb, it would be best if you can take it out of the nest and hand feed yourself
