Ming,
I guess that extra few thousands dollars doesn't mean too much to you, and that amount of money is nothing when compared to the time and effort for someone taking care of an amazon.  So instead of picking a second choice, take the bird that you really love is actually more appropriate.  The concept of money varies between people, and here in parrot tree there are parrot lovers ranging from students to business men...well, you get my point.  

um... take this in mind, you are not considering a standardized merchandise like a computer or a car, each parrot is an unique individual, agree?
