雀街有可憐賽仔

上兩個星期六去左行雀街，見到有一間雀店黎左一打賽仔，隻隻都好大仔，一睇D毛毛就知係BB，個人估計得兩至三個月大，但係唔明點解佢地已經有黃色眼圈(係咪唔同種呢?)，(黃色眼圈通常成鳥先會有)，其中有一隻個頭頂唔知係咪俾其他雀攻擊，成個頭頂光脫脫，慘不忍睹。D地方仲要好污糟... ...

唉... ...

各位萬千寵愛的雀雀... 你睇下你地幾幸福呀... ...

果D雀CONDITION 好差,好可能長期食得差,不過唔係唔同亞種....
其有大左都係淡黃脈圈的,無一出生就黃眼的...

繁殖成烏鸚鵡個頭光脫脫是很普遍,因為是互相整毛時太重咀,太多數頭光是女!

睇眼圈全部都係成鳥~
光頭果隻有一忽肉結左焦 (我專留意d無聊野~

當然係非洲~~~有可能係非法,但有D非洲國家係可以合法捉野生雀鳥的

I doubt it, wild senegal can be found all over WA. Wild caught Senegal seems pretty common in pet trade even in north america.

Having said that wild caught Senegal are really way way too shy for pet. But the sad truth is...most Senegal chicks you find on sale here in Hong Kong are most likely bred by wild caught parents. Thus only 1 out of 5 is really tame and loving...

By the way I'm not saying that chicks found in Hong Kong are caught in some tree holes in Africa. But the breeding pairs in their aviary are, especially the early generations.

As I mentioned before in other posts, I believe wild caught parrot not only affect senegal parrot but also many other parrots. I believe the wild caught in African Grey is even worst.

The demand is too high for these 2 species. Good news is senegal is such a successful species in the wild its tough to really put them in any danger. And african grey can be so easily bred even in household situation. Captive bred Grey are so readily available on planet earth I dont see why they still bother to find them in the wild.

Wild caught parrots does sound like a really bad thing, for some species, but not so with most African species except for ruppells and niam niam. I dont know, its not as bad as 20 or maybe 30 years ago. Most "still-exist" species are now put in captivity with breeding success. I even seen photos with a dozen of Spix in it. And most common cockatoo and lory or lorikeet are still everywhere in Australia. Many are still considered pest. Just that I think wild caught parrots are no longer such a big concern in recent years..

有個雀友行過街市~見到一隻巴西龜好可憐~100元買左~帶去睇獸醫~睇左幾千元~醫完好番之後~獸醫都叫佢下次唔好啦~

講起wild caught , 我早前無聊周圍睇見到太陽鸚鵡都因為呢樣野數量大大減少唉
